Missing Trends to trade on Despite Filter

Hi, 

I am getting a repeat f the following situation

Despite a clear downtrend, There are just lots of buy oriders when the opposite should be true. I also have stochastic on the m5 timeframe on as a collective signal. Just not really sure how to solve this. I can see the orders are placed at various support or resistance levels. But this sort of behaviour can hurt the balance a little. 

How can I alter the settings to look for these trends, if any? Just totally baffled.
