Please implement Bollinger Bands and Envelopes as Indicators/Filters so we can define entry points below or above a certain band.


Suggestion for setfile extension:

Type: Disabled/BB/Envelopes

Timeframe

Band Period

Deviation

Shift

Method (Envelopes only)

Applied Price

Distance

Points/Coefficient

*

*

.... very equal to MA Filters.

Hi, Jan!

It is not "very equal to MA filters", it is exactly the same )

Just set "Distance type"= "Volatility * Coefficient" and needed Bands deviation as "Points / Coefficient" value.

Please, let me know if you're satisfied with this solution.

oh wow, okay. :-)

Thanks for the hint. This is not really visible in the EA settings itself (unless you know how BBs are build - I didn't know before) and the google document does not mention it. It just looks like you skipped one of the most important indicators.
