Adding Half Trend Indicator

I love to using and create trading strategy with this awesome EA create by Andrey. 

Just wondering if Andrey can also include one indicator that already accompany my manual trading strategy for years. 
I think by combining with existing indicator on Community Power EA, this Half Trend Indicator will be very powerful.


Let me know if you guys can support this idea :)

Half trend on action (green lines for bulls trend - red lines for bear trend) - With arrow as signal buy/sell

Can u plz check whether its repainted indicator?

I feel like its catching late and changes its signals on rapid movements.

As far as i use this, it's not repaint indicator. The signal doesn't change  even for next period. But maybe some rapid movement on certain timeframe could change this. To be honest i never realize this :D. But will inform if i found something.

Its repainting.

It gave buy signal for a movement on last candle below and then got revoked when there is slight down movement. And signal propped up on up move.

Personally I don't prefer repainting indicators. Not sure how EA will behave over such repainting.

Final settled signal. Sry for poor image quality.

Buy signal has not been generated again.

Got it, thanks for your investigation. Perhaps we should wait until the new bar is generated. so EA start to trade on new bar, like existing option that EA have? Just my cents :D

Yeah. U r right.

The issue I can see is, its generating good signals in 1H & 4H time frames. Then if we wait for new bar, we will be catching the signals 1H & 4H late! So Iam not sure how accurate/profitable the trades will be with this lagging signals. Only backtest can tell the result. Let's wait for others opinions as well.
