I think it can work. But good News EA — it is another big theme. Not sure we will make it soon.
Better close the EA for particular duration before and after the news. U may be better judge to decide that duration sir. Please implement. I can observe that EA DD is more only during that times!

Yep, we should hedge opened series, if any.
But let's focus on non-martingale sets which shouldn't be hedged.
I support the implementation of the News Filter. We need it for 2 purposes.
1. Disable one type trading strategy at big impact news. Here we need X time befor and Y time after news.
2. Anable second type trading strategy (X time befor in Y time after news). Trading is only allowed in the period between the X and Y time frames.
Place 2 price actions (buy / sell) after a very relevant news in order to catch a trend.
