Set File still in progress, require help

Intended to replicate the strategy created by Rob. (Which is used for manual trading)

Which uses 3 trendlines for indication.


  • In Red -smoothed moving average - SMA(Close,5)
  • In Blue- exponential moving average - EMA(Close,18)
  • In Grey - exponential moving average - EMA(Close,144)

Entry Condition

  1. LONG POSITION - When RED and BLUE Line crosses, above the candle bars.
  2. SHORT POSITION - When RED and BLUE Line crosses, below the candle bars.

Close Condition

  1. Whenever the Stochastic oscillator (Momentum) hits the middle line.

Hi!

You need MACD filter in cooperation with MA filter for open signal and Oscillator silter for close signal.

Please, share your set when it is ready)

I guess it was Partial close that is also enabled in your set.

1. To open on 2 MA cross signal you need "MACD >/< 0" signal mode

2. Oscillator level is also matters in the "Cross MA" signal mode, be careful.

I've changed the setting accordingly.

1. At the crossing of stochastic MA it doesn't close position of it.

2. And it somehow allows opposite direction even with MA filter.

Why do you use "neutral signals"?

Why did not you fix the Oscillator level as I suggested?

Please, spend some time reading the manual and backtesting. All settings are described in details.

Thank you so much for the help out!

Although in manual trade, it does seem good to trade in M15.

but somehow it doesn't really work in EA (Not sure why).

With the implementation of 3 Trendlines (H1)

Momentum Above below MA + IdentifyTrend + MACD + MA Above(SMA 5) + MA Above(EMA 18) + MA Above (EMA 144)-

Encountered consecutively drawdown in the year 2022, probably someone can help out on ways to avoid it.

Momentum Above below MA + IdentifyTrend + M....set

Leverage: 1:500
