Mimic Leveraged ETPs/ETFs using CFDs brokers
Hello,
I have a good idea. there are leverage ETPs/ETFs out there in the market like (+5x Long US Tech 100, ProShares UltraPro QQQ), the idea is simple. just open 5x (or whatever) leverage buy on Nas100 or any other indices or even Stocks CFDs from the beginning of the day and close the position at the end of the day. and open again new buy 5x position at the new beginning day and close it at the end of the day, etc.
here the scenario:(account balance = 1000$)
open buy order Nas100 using leverage 5x at the beginning of the day, the position will be 5000$ and the EA close the position at the end of the day regardless of the outcome (loss or profit).
what if at the end of the day we make loss 100$? the result will be 900$.
now open new position at the beginning of the new day using 5x leverage. the position will be 4500$ and close the position at the end of the day regardless of the outcome (loss or profit).
what if at the end of the day we make profit 150$? the result will be 1050$. now we can mimic these ETPs/ETFs.
here is the article explaining leveraged ETFs: Leveraged ETFs: The Potential for Bigger Gains—and Bigger Losses (investopedia.com)
the issuers of these ETPs/ETFs take fees. also, not all stockbrokers provide these ETPs. some stockbrokers don't available for international customers.
we can use CFDs brokers to mimic these ETPs with low fees and some brokers have no swap with little margin.
also, we can make leverage variable not fixed like ETPs and also can rebalance with variable periods (weekly or even monthly). we can even invent ETPs with individual stocks. for Example, buying 3x Facebook and snapchat with daily rebalance. using your EA, we can make these ETPs flexible not fixed like official ETPs.
This strategy is very far from CP. I can't find a single point of intersection.
You could try automating it with someone from freelance.
