Hi,

I want to use the MACD filter for stocks. I'm looking for a very simple approach. MACD line cross SIGNAL line upwards = buy (open LONG order or CLOSE a SHORT order) | MACD line cross SIGNAL line downwards is sell (or close a LONG order or a open a SHORT order).

How to to this?

You need Main and Signal cross or Main and Signal cross >/< 0 mode

The MACD indicator is already included. See the documentation in the following link:

Yes, I've seen the documentation but didn't understand how to use it with my strategy?

Will the 'Signal Cross 0' function will do the job?

To be clear.

MACD crossing upward the signal line = buy (ID 1)
MACD crossing downwards the signal line = close (ID 1) /// open short trade (ID 2)
MACD crossing upwards the signal line = close (ID 2) /// open long trade (ID 3)

Hope you guys can help.
