In my experience, more filters and indicators would be needed to temporarily stop trading. In this case, I do not mean closing already open positions, but stopping the opening of new ones.
-Stop the opening of the 1st position,
-Stop Martingale etc.
For example Price Density - Market Noise Index indicator (https://www.mql5.com/ don't trade above value) and similar that would temporarily stop trading.
You can already use any signal / filter / custom indicator to enable/disable first entry, martingale or hedge.
You can even activate each signal on some event, like DD or trades number.

You're right. Only in my head is the problem how to correctly and logically use an individual filter or indicator.
And I have a problem how to use CustomIndy to make it work properly.
For example indicator Price Density is supposed to open both sell and buy only above a certain value and I don't know how to define it correctly.
