for quite some time now I have been searching for an EA strategy to capitalize the major swings in XAUUSD. I came across this bot and community and I must say: I am deeply impressed. Thanks for all your work and great ideas!
Until now I have only read and reproduced since I had nothing to contribute yet. This strategy however, might be interesting and I have taken the liberty of improving / modifying it.
I have deactivated Martingale, since I want my EAs to be stable and profitable by themselves during optimization. Only when that is achieved, I start adding such strategies in order to make the already working strategy even more explosive.
In theory I would like the bot to place relatively few trades at first, usually after a major turn. I played around with ZZ/MA combinations but to no avail thus far. Perhaps I start a separate topic on this. Or is there already something available?
For this strategy, I have been able to attain roughly one trade per day at a winrate of > 90%.
Capitalization in terms of SL TP and order management is still tentative and not optimized at all. A trailing stop might make sense here, I suppose. But until now I have been unable to find details on how this works with this EA. Perhaps we can improve on this further together :-)
Oh, and if someone has an idea on how to reset my tick history, that seems to be corrupted somehow judging by the low quality.
