Improvement to LIVE Default Martingale Set - Optimized for Dec to March

I have worked out for control of DD which happened in the recent past, though at the cost of slight affect on profit.

eur usd default live set with 0.95 Step co-eff.set


Below are the tabulated results for different periods and can be seen that DD has been controlled well over long run as well. Hope this helps the community.May please review and take it live.

With default set

With my improved set file(step co-eff of 0.95)

Iam unable to get 100% tick quality with my broker. 

I have been using this modified set from last june and can say that the buy trades has closed this year.

May plz check at ur end as well.

Best solution would be changing the step co-eff to 0.95 in jan and set it back to 0.75 after jan every year. Not sure whether this will work every year, but worked for 2 years.

New findings with step coef = 0.8

2019 till date

net profit of 281k

equity dd relative 60%

Going to forward test this

Ur tick qulaity is not good. Not sure how accurate the test result is! Be careful.

Unfortunately, we need to be aware that a strategy that does not make a profit without optimization on historical data is not appropriate. It is very difficult to predict the future based on the past. Optimization can only partially improve the result, but it cannot be the foundation of a strategy.

Yes. Overfitting by optimizing for a longer period will only lead to bad results and has been emphasized many times by Andrey sir.
