XAU/USD BigCandle 100USD Cent Account

Hello Community,

This strategy was created to take advantage of BigCandle > 1000 and close when the IdentifyTrend indicator indicates a close signal at profit.


With 100USD it is difficult to trade Gold.

It does not give much profit

From 2019 to 2021 with a margin of> 6,000% and a DrawDown of 16%

The same strategy could be applied to other pairs.

Please, if you apply it to other pairs, share it.

It does not have a Maximum TakeProfit value, nor does it have a TrailingStop.
Has StopLoss> 60% balance.

I share another improvement. With more risk. Margin Level> 2100% and DDR> 40%

I also share the log of transactions. I did this with a script in Python that parse the Log de CPEA and exports it to CSV

On gold XAUUSD, I offer you my BigCandle + StochK strategy test on the vantageFx broker, which offers a very favorable spread on gold.

Could you also test on another broker, can someone test on GoMarket and BlueBERRY Market which must have a comparable spread?

94% of backtest quality is useless. It must be 100% to reflect real results.

Make sure you select Modelling type: Every tick based on real ticks

Below is the result with Octa FX.

Failed in 2020 and also bad in 2022 as well, however did not fail. :(

Indeed the history of the year 2018 of VantageFX on gold is very bad but it is at 99% from 2019 and the backest is also very good. I do all my tests with real ticks.

I also have very good results on AdmiralMarket 1/500 but relatively bad on ICM and ROBOFOREX, the spread is probably responsible for that
