Ultra Hedge *Beta* - JPow

Hi Guys,

I´ve been working a new system lately. An ultra hedge system. What does that mean I will explain soon:

Well, rates are rising globally. This will lead to alot more volatility for forex because it´s getting more interesting to park money in cash. Our martingale system needs to become more well-conceived.So I developed this setup.

We working with different Phases and the same pairs. What I got so far;

Pairs are marked as: N = neutral / S = Sell / B = Buy

Phase 1: CHFJPY (N) / EURCHF (S) / EURJPY (B)

Phase 2: GBPCHF (N) / CHFJPY (S) / GBPJPY (B)

Phase 3: USDCHF ( N) / EURCHF (S) / EURUSD (B)

Phase 4: EURUSD (N) / USDJPY (S) / EURJPY (B)

All simple, its just Stochastic who either buys or sells. The (S) part is just reversing the signal. The "N" is the decision maker. So it´s supposed

to 2 vs 1 (the hedge).

This backtesting is hard and not really possible so I set up a live signal: https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/1745827?source=Site+Signals+My

Any suggestions for improvements? Is it possible to connect the the pairs for each phase? ( maybe via the magic number?) So it closes every phase individually. Of course the "Phases" can be expanded to more pairs.

Anyway here are the sets.

Ultra Hedge.zip ( the magic number need to changed for every pair)

Hello, what do you think of this combination of pairs?

EURUSD EURGBP GBPUSD L
GBPUSD EURGBP EURUSD S
USDCHF EURUSD EURCHF S
USDJPY EURUSD EURJPY S
USDCAD EURUSD EURCAD S
AUDUSD EURAUD EURUSD S
EURGBP GBPUSD EURUSD S
EURAUD AUDUSD EURUSD S
EURCHF EURUSD USDCHF L
EURJPY EURUSD USDJPY L
GBPJPY GBPUSD USDJPY L
AUDJPY AUDUSD USDJPY L
GBPCHF GBPUSD USDCHF L

Hmm, could you give me a bit more information? Whats the meaning of "L" and "S"?

What are the selling, buying and neutral pairs?

I also got to check if I have proper SetFiles for all this combinations.

I have obtained that table from this code from this EA that uses Hedge.

I am using the version 2.49

Here is the ZIP file again: IC Markets Ultra Hedge V3 nNEWS.zip

and the original version: Roboforex_Ultra_Hedge_3_nNEWS.zip

Hi Chris,
I'm rather new to Forex trading and MT5... So sorry if I'm completely off with my question below ;-)

I was trying to use the IC Markets set files attached in your post on my demo account to get some experience with the EA. I noticed two things:

1. Two symbols have the same Expert ID (EURCHF and GPBUSD). Shouldn't they be different?

Symbol N/B/S Expert ID
AUDNZD N 1
CHFJPY B 5
EURCHF B 8
EURCHF S 2
EURJPY B 3
EURUSD B 10
EURUSD S 9
GBPCHF N 4
GBPUSD S 2
USDCAD S 12
USDCHF N 7
USDJPY N 11

2. I cannot seem to get the different symbols to match in the different phases. In the table below I have marked some symbols with paranthesis "()". To me it seems that they are missing from the set files you provided. Instead you provided three set files (in the "outliers" row). Is this a mistake? Or on purpose?

If it is on purpose I would really like if you could explain why.

If it is a mistake... Do you then have the missing files and could you provide them?

N S B
Phase 1 USDCHF EURUSD EURCHF
Phase 2 GBPCHF GBPUSD (USDCHF)
Phase 3 (CHFJPY) EURCHF EURJPY
Phase 4 USDJPY (EURJPY) EURUSD
"Outliers" AUDNZD USDCAD CHFJPY

Thanks!

I'm really impressed with the work you have all done in this community. Keep up the good work! I hope I can contribute a bit when I have gained a bit more experience.

Hi,

I copy the files directly from MT5 and due to the fact, that I have now 79 instances runing, with various versions and pairs, mistakes can always happen ;)

The old V1 had the same magic numbers for all pairs...I kept that also with all V1 variants.

The old V3 version had different numbers for every pair...

If you have input to improve one of my setups you are very welcome!

The data I provide should be something, we all could benefit from. ;)

This V3 version you metioned was not made/created by me! I just activated the News filter.

I would suggest not using it anymore! In all of my simulations at least 1 of the pairs killed the account.

Hi again Chris,

Wow... 78 instances... Yes, then I understand that an error can happen with the .set files.

Thanks for your fast response 👍 I will find out about the missing pairs in the different phases.

About the magic number... Is this documented anywhere how to use the magic number in the different versions?

You mention that you would not use this version any more... Which ones would you recommend then? (.set files would be appreciated 😉)

Thanks again!

Uff...I am still testing and making new (hopefully better) versions.

You are using IC Markets? The regulated with max leverage of 1:30 or SC?

I could give you one of mine, no problem...but I am not responsable for anything ;)

Just pick one from the overview...should be "ICM" or "IC Markets".

Here you can also find the latest R006 version, its robust with fair DD: Link

Uh...what a week! I have to revise my setups etc., so the report will be a bit delayed.

Also, most of my SetFiles are now based on Martingale instead of Stochastic. This has also caused a lot of DD/trouble during all these movements.

I would be very grateful if someone could share some setfiles for different pairs that do not use Martingale. Without updated SetFiles, I am beginning to see no progress or potential for further improvements...
