Date Exceptions settings

Hi all,

Does anyone else think that a date setting section to omit trading within a give date reference ie: date/month to date/month may be useful?

Example: taking out a period of time for summer holidays or date prior to the end/start of the Tax year.

it can be done on a single string entry like 01/04:07:04, 10/06/30/06 to cover two date periods etc....

Would at least be useful in back testing.

An alternative way to exclude the desired period is using news files:

For me it’s easier than creating a custom symbol

PS: you can exclude NY holidays using "Last December / First January day to trade" parameters.
