Hello Ferdinand Tampubolon

Attached are the results of the tests and tabulation of the strategy/file eurusd2024v2, I changed the numbering/magic number, but I didn't change anything in the structure of the strategy you put together, I just ran the tests on the currency pairs and tabulated it to see how the strategy turned out. in each of the pairs...

NOTE: File/strategy eurusd2024v2 is the same as File/strategy CP 800165 Ref. EURUSD Pairs V2 EURUSD M1 MT5 Lot Fixed and Risk 0.01 RoboForex

which I just renamed into the pattern that I use to test strategies and not get lost over time/years.

TESTs.zip

CP 800165 Ref. EURUSD Pairs V2 EURUSD M1 MT....SET

Tabulação CP 800165 e 800166.xlsx

Remembering that I am still waiting for the usdjpy2024v2 file which presented an error in the tests and I was unable to perform them

hello Douglas Hoffmann
i will update the new file after this

Hello Ferdinando Tampubolon

Apologies for the delay.

Attached are the 84 tests and a tabulation of the tests carried out with version 3 of your strategy.

NOTE: Just like the previous tests I carried out, these tests were also carried out with fixed lots at $0.01 and risk at 0.01%, that is, the same previous standard was used.

1 - test Ref. USDJPY.zip
2 - test Ref. EURUSD.zip
Tabulation.xlsx

Conclusion: Compared to tests on previous versions, this time version 3 presented lower results than other versions already tested, many of which versions 1 and 2 I am already using even on a real account.

Another topic/idea: I would like to share an idea I had this weekend, I would like your opinion to know if it makes sense or not.

The main indices in the world are: the Dow Jones and the S&P 500, many assets in the world follow their trend movement or at least use it as a reference/beacon/return parameter, does it make sense to use one of these indices as a parameter? for your strategy replacing the UERUSD and USDJPY benchmark?

Olá Ferdinando

The correlation between the S&P 500, the Dow Jones and the Forex market is quite similar and dynamic.

Both the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones have a strong correlation with the Forex market, for several reasons:

Representation of the American economy: Both indices are composed of large American companies and therefore serve as a barometer of the health of the United States economy.

Sensitivity to the dollar: As the dollar is the world's reserve currency, variations in its appreciation or devaluation directly influence both indices and the Forex market.

Risk Appetite: Investor sentiment towards global risk affects both indices and Forex. When risk appetite is high, we tend to see an appreciation of indices and a depreciation of the dollar.

Monetary policy: Federal Reserve (Fed) decisions on interest rates directly impact both indices and Forex.

Volatility: The S&P 500, as it is more diversified, generally presents lower volatility compared to the Dow Jones, but you would have to test it to see which one performs better as a reference in your strategy/set compared to forex peers.
